Russia is huge with lot of differnt locations to go to. First time we went there we were invited by our russian friend Vasily to Elbrus in the Kaukasus mountains. The first stepp to go is getting a valid visa at time. The mountains there are big, cold and packed with snow. The heli didnt fly for technical problems one day and not because of strong winds the other day, but than surprisingly did fly with even stronger wind the next day. Our local heli guide didnt even have an avalanche tranceiver at that time and it was hard to almost imopossible to make them to bring us to the faces we wanted to go to. Kaukasus mountains are a wild place…
