Alaska
When i was a teenager i did see pictures of alaska in an american snowboardmagazine. Unreal steep faces full of powder, spines, and all of that in this wild country! – that was when i started to dream of riding the steep faces of ak. When my buddy flo örley and me decided to travel to cordova this dream started to become reality. Because of our small budget we slept in a tent, were hiking on most of the beautifull peaks around the little town of Cordova and finally got to fly with the heli out in the zone of Points North Heli. Some of the people we met on this first trip became good friends and it was the beginning of a seven years in a row visiting and scoring some of the best runs of my life.
