about the early season in the austrian mountains

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 @ 06:38 | WINTER NEWS

after the super early dump in october, it seems that winterseason is not taking off as we would wish. changing teperatures, no snow lower down, mixture of rain, snow, some very windy days dont make it easy to find what we are looking for. the last days we spent hiking and checking differnt areas around and although its not epic and not as good as it gets, there is some good powdersnow to be found and the light during these short days is just magic.

not much snow so far but still some thick lips
