the guy who put the helmetcam on my head 2 min before the start did forget to close  the toppocket of my backbag. packed with my photocam a screwdriver plus some powerbar it was hammering against my head for the whole run, really anoying.

the verbier xtreme, this year didnt take place on the classic bec des rosses but on the smaller sw facing mont gele close by. the reason for that change was a lack of snow on the bec after a big slide took out all the lines under some riders eyes two days before the comp. the snow conditions on the gele were difficult, from rock hard sun baked to a few powder pockets.

my line at the xtreme: i decided to go for the small center couloir,
pretty technical and therefore hard to ride it fluid and clean. snow
was mostly hard and crusty, so it didnt work out perfect but was
worth a try. my austrian buddie flo was the only one beside me to
ride that line…the austrian couloir!

hi there,
after the bigmountainpro(.com) i went straight to an o´neill shoot in canada where i am now. snow is good, runs are short but steep…very fun. big bummer, bibi hurt her knee and is going back to innsbruck tomorrow.
